Before becoming an integral coach in 2019, JM spent 25 years within the Human Resources and Talent Acquisition/Recruitment space in Asia, where he worked as the talent leader for Ogilvy, McCann, and with WPP as the Regional CTO, the World’s largest creative holding group. In the last 4 years, JM was the APAC CEO of Grace Blue Worldwide, the only global executive search agency specializing in the advertising, marketing and communications sectors. He is twice accredited in coaching, with NVW as an integral coach and as a Professional Coach (PCC) from the International Coaching Federation.

What is integral coaching?

 

Integral coaching is a comprehensive response to human development. 

 

Its practitioners reach deeply into the past, gathering wisdom from both East and West, while still staying current with the frontiers of new discovery in cognitive science, psychology, and other disciplines. 

 

We call our work integral because we include everything about the client and the client’s world in our coaching. 

 

The power of the individual and the social context

 

Our coaching brings forth a view of the client that includes how the client represents him/herself and investigates his/her social world, habits, relationships with the body, the quality of self-care, and the amount of attention and energy available to take on change.

The method focuses on the individuality of the person as well as the social context in which s/he is always embedded. 

 

Our individuality includes our thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and intentions as well as everything that is happening to us physiologically. 

 

Our social context includes the language(s) we speak, the culturally specific practices we engage in, the relationships we are a part of and the history of the groups we belong to. 

 

Additionally, we are always in a shared physical environment that includes nature and human artifacts, and our background, sense of possibility and our mood are shaped by the physical space we’re in.

 

 

What is process of integral coaching?

 

With some clients, we may focus on developing strengths, improving relationships, and clarifying a sense of purpose. 

 

With others, we may concentrate on healing wounds from the past, understanding unconscious blocks, and gaining fresh skills. 

 

The process we use is as much art as it is science. Grounded in our training and personal experiences, we collaborate with our clients in a process that fosters personal connection, exploration and authenticity.
