I see you...

Dear HR professional,
A few days ago I read an incredible post written by a random HR Director and coach based in the States.
It was an open letter to all of those working in the HR Space right now, and here's an excerpt...
I see you.
I see you trying to stay strong and keep it together whilst you balance the needs of those around you.
I see you. Questioning how you are going to continue to navigate your business through this change. Keep people engaged. Motivated. Connected. Maintain the culture. Preserve the camaraderie. All whilst trying to work out what the 'new world' will look like yourself.
I see you. Trying to manage your own self-care and mental state whilst juggling the emotional demands of all of those in the business that you support.
And. I believe in you.
If you are feeling down right now and wondering how you will continue to get through, please remember this…..
YOU are strong. You are compassionate. You are the likely the glue holding the business together right now. You are the coach. The mentor. The advisor to many leaders looking to you for support through these unprecedented times.
But please, also remember this….. HR is one of the toughest gigs you can have. Why?
Because you are dealing with people. And people are complex. They are not all the same. Their needs are all varied. They are all different.
If you're having a tough time of late, and you would like to chat with someone who's been in your shoes, I would like to offer a confidential conversation, no strings attached.
Just go to www.fb.com/tripitakka and select 'Executive Coaching for HR professionals'.
