Thriving in the AD Talent Shake Up

A conversation I had a few months ago on client relationships, titles, and what actually stays with you when the industry shifts.


The short version: your relationships follow you. Your title does not. The agency leaders who come out of a talent re-adjustment with their careers intact are almost always the ones who invested in people over the years, not the ones who protected their position.


I also talked about something I see too often in talent leadership. A drift toward analytics and metrics at the expense of the thing that actually makes agencies work. Culture. The ability to make people feel like they belong to something worth showing up for.
